On this trip, you will see Old towns, medieval fortresses and learn all about Croatian history and culture - local specifics of the areas you are visiting, the uniqueness of architecture and local legend and stories.You will see two of the eight National parks ( Plitvice and Krka), six of the ten UNESCO sites( Plitvice, Zadar walls, Šibenik cathedral, Trogir, Diocletian’s palace in Split, Dubrovnik Old town, and Ston as the place on UNESCO access list and more..

You will start your trip to Zagreb where you will be welcomed at the local airport and transferred to your accommodation! Zagreb is the capital and has about 800 000 people which are approximately 20 % of the total population in Croatia. It is
the economic and political center of Croatia, with the historical background of its own.
At the scheduled time we will meet for a brief orientation session and a short talk about the upcoming itinerary. After the orientation session, dinner will take place and afterward you are free to relax and take time to adopt new time zone. A guided tour will take place depending on your arrival times.
After leaving Zagreb we will drive South forward Plitvice lakes with stops along the way. We will stop at the war museum and learn something about Homeland war in the 90s. The main activity is walking in the UNESCO site, and most famous Croatian National park – Plitvice Lakes.
Plitvice is known for 16 lakes and numerous waterfalls, as a unique Nature creation. We will learn about local specifics while walking on chosen paths with the best views. Many say that this is one of the unique places they visited. It’s on you to discover are they right.
After exploring the natural beauties we will retire to local accommodation for an overnight stay.

Today we are leaving Croatia’s inland and arriving at Dalmatia. Our destination is city Zadar and its old core-peninsula. Zadar is unique for its combination of ancient archeological sites, medieval architecture, and modern art. Imagine walking on a glass floor on a square with the old Roman ruins underneath glass visible to your eye.
In Zadar, you don’t have to imagine it, its real!
Have you ever heard that the Sea can play music? Seams unreal? In Zadar is real! How does it work? Well, something you need to experience by your self!
Day 4: National park Krka
Today we will explore one more of Croatia’s highlights – the National park Krka, named after the river Krka. Beautiful waterfalls, river canyon with islet on the river, greens forests, a unique restored village with original activities is how this place can be shortly described.
Did you know that Krka NP is a place where first power plant in Europe was introduced, officially open 2 days after the one in Niagara Falls?
After park visit, we will retire in a charming small place Skradin, situated on a river Krka bank.
For those of you who would like to see more, you are welcome to join us on a short extension at neighboring town Šibenik, locally known as the town of the Croatian king Krešimir. In Šibenik we will do a short walk around the city center and see a highlight of Šibenik – UNESCO protected cathedral of St.Jakob.
Overnight will be in Skradin at a family owned hotel.

After leaving Skradin In the morning we will depart for one of the most important archeological sites in Dalmatia -Salona! You will see the foundation of the once great city and headquarters of the whole Roman province Dalmatia. During our visit, we will see one of the biggest gladiators arenas in this part of a former Roman empire!
After witnessing traces of Roman culture, we are going to place with even older tradition- Trogir. We will go on a tour of UNESCO site Island-town Trogir –established as a Greek colony more than 2000 years ago. Narrow stone streets and architecture is a perfect example of a Dalmatian settlement.
You will be introduced to the most important Trogir highlights on a guided tour. We will overnight in this Unique place, and after dinner feel free to explore more of the city on your own. Do not be afraid to get lost, because where ever you go, you will end up on the water. Island is so small, that in one hour you can walk it twice!
Although the palace has changed its appearance over the centuries and with its surroundings became a medieval city, it is still one of the best-preserved examples of antique palaces in the whole world. It gained some popularity lately since some scenes of HBO series Games of Thrones were recorded in palace substructures.
After visiting Split, we will depart more to the South with our next stop being a small municipality called Ston. Ston is a small Croatian medieval town with the longest fortified system in Europe, known as the Ston city walls. Ston is also well-known for the oldest salt works on the Mediterranean almost unchanged since the 14th century and for its delicious oysters and mussels grown here more for more than a thousand years.
After visiting Ston we will retire at our accommodation.

Many will say, sugar at the end. Dubrovnik- the pearl of the Adriatic, city-state republic known for centuries for their diplomacy and freedom! Dubrovnik city walls as a defender of freedom of this unique place are second biggest in the world, after The Great Wall of China.
On a guided tour you will be introduced to the rich history of Dubrovnik, its legends and stories.
We will also visit Mt SRĐ, where at the very top of the hill still proudly stands a fortress Imperial built at the beginning of the 19th century by Napoleon’s army. At the top of the hill, you will see Dubrovnik and area as on your palm.
Tonight we will have farewell dinner where we say goodbye to our fellow travelers!
